About Me

Home / About Me

I was born and raised in Palencia, although I was based in Madrid for some time.

I completed a degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Salamanca (USAL), specialising in both fields for a total of 5 years. During my studies, I acquired a native level of English (C2), French (C1) and Italian (C1), my ‘work languages'. I also spent a year as an Erasmus student at ISIT in Paris in order to improve my French and study at one of the most renowned interpreting schools in the world.

During this period, I also completed several specialisation courses in Translation and Interpreting related to International Institutions and Medicine.

I then specialised in the field of Interpreting with a Master's Degree in Business-Oriented Conference Interpreting (UAH) at the University of Alcalá. Therefore, it is important to state that my work languages are Spanish (mother tongue), English (‘B’ or main working language), French and Italian (C or secondary working languages) and that my fields of expertise are business, medicine, international institutions and, through personal interests, sports.

Altogether, I have more than 6 years of training in this field, plus about 3 years of experience working both as a translator and as an interpreter, both as an intern and as a freelancer.
